Spooky season is here and it vanishes as fast as a ghost in peak haunting season. Don’t get caught in a spell and conjure up as much fun as you can summon! Here is our top seasonal to do list for 2021!
Tanaka Farms
Visit a pumpkin patch! No Spooky season is complete without a patch visit or two! There are some great pumpkins out there to pick! Some, like Tanaka and Underwood also offer veggie picking! These are our favorite patches to visit… admission is timed and limited. Reservations are not required but walk up tickets are not guaranteed. Make reservations in advance especially on busier weekends for a hassle free visit. Make sure to check the website for prices and to make your reservations.

More Halloween fun!
Kid Friendly Halloween Fun! These fun and scare free outings make the season festive and fun! I won’t list them in any particular order, (*except the first! Its no secret that we wait all year long for this season, its our absolute favorite thing to do!)
If you missed out on tickets to Oogie Boogie Bash, there is still plenty of Halloween fun to find! Too many specialty foods and holiday fun to pack into this blurb. Click here for everything not to miss at Halloween Time at Disneyland! Park admission and reservations are required.
Halloween Time at Disneyland
Weekends through October 31st, Knotts has special Halloween fun for kids ages 3 – 11 with trick or treating, activities and shows and even Bob Baker Marionette show all included with park admission!
Haunt O’ Ween LA
Every evening (from 5 – 11 pm) through Oct 31st walk through this immersive Halloween experience with trick or treating and a carnival included in your ticket! There is food, wine tasting and pumpkin decorating for an additional fee. Tickets are $35.00 Children 2 and under are free. Book an early time slot and take your time waling through! There is much to see and do included in your ticket. You can only move forward and there is much to discover! Check the website for tickets and reservations. (Hosted)
Carved is back! Oct 11 – 31st walk through hundreds of carved pumpkins! Hay maze and themed food available too!
Nightmare Before Christmas at El Capitan Theatre
Catch your favorite Halloween time movies at El Capitan Theatre or try a classic Drive in at one of the Rooftop Cinema Club locations.
Bob Baker Marionette Theatre is now open! You can see the historic puppets dancing and singing to the Halloween Spooktacular through October 31st! This show is a TREASURE I am so happy to see it open and it’s truly not to be missed!

Put on your costume and stop at the Spadena House for a spell! It makes the perfect backdrop for all of your Halloween photos! (pictured) The address is 516 Walden Drive Beverly Hills but you can just type Spadena House into your maps app for directions.

Dia de Los Muertos
Oct 30th, Dia de Los Muertos festival at Hollywood Forever Cemetery is back for its 22nd year! This year it features separate day and night time events. The day time event includes a children’s plaza that is perfect to get your kids introduce your kids to the traditions of Dia De Los Muertos. Tickets for both Day and Night events are required. Make an Altar at home! Honor your loved ones and start an altar to guide your loved ones spirits back home to you for one night. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, just make it with love. This holiday is about family and there is no better way than celebrating with the ones you love!
