I was made for food festivals and food festivals were made for me. This is my favorite food festival because it celebrates California cuisine and you know I am all about celebrating all things California! Here is a breakdown of navigating this park wide event and what not to miss!

Snickers Caramel-Peanut Milk Chocolate Mickey Macaron!

The Food and Wine Festival runs march 4th through April 26th, 2022. You need a valid ticket and theme park reservation to enter and enjoy the food booths inside DCA but there many things to enjoy in the downtown Disney area and in the hotels that you do not need a park ticket for! (I will get to that down below) Some of the highlights within the park include culinary demonstrations, live music, special activity zones for the kids, an expanded menu of cocktails to sip on, and of course the Festival Marketplace booths! There are also bookable experiences (at an additional cost) and specialty themed merchandise.

My favorite part is walking around sipping and tasting my way through the Marketplace booths. You can purchase a Sip and Savor pass at various locations that includes 8 coupons redeemable for select food and beverages (excludes alcohol and souvenir items). The pass is $57 for non Magic Key holders and $52 for Magic Key holders. Here is my biggest money saving tip – With 8 tabs to redeem, that gives each tab a value of $7.12 for non Magic Key and $6.50 for Magic Key holders. Keep that in mind when making your selections on what to use your tabs on to optimize your value! Use it on higher priced items and anything under $7.12 (or $6.50 for Magic Key) opt to pay for that instead, leaving the tabs for the pricier items. Math! The only time I’m good at it is when it comes to my money and discounts! LOL

For the kids… Don’t miss out on Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party! Previously, it was Chef Goofy but my kids are so excited about the addition of Alice because they love the new show on Disney Junior and Disney Plus! The show takes place at the Hollywood Backlot Stage and you’ll want to plan for it and arrive early because there are only 3 showtimes daily and only 32 kids are selected to participate! The kids will enjoy the interactive show and get to decorate a cupcake! This is FREE to do so it gets filled up fast!

You can also meet Chef Goofy! There are Goofy chef hats to color and decorate and a fun Jammin’ Chefs show to watch!

Grab some tasty eats or something to sip on while you enjoy live music at the Paradise Gardens Stage and the Paradise Garden Bandstand! We recommend our favorites, The Mariachi Divas and the Tina Aldana Band!

If you are skipping the park, there is still plenty to see and do in the Downtown Disney District! There will be guest artist popping in to the WonderGround Gallery, Chalk art to admire and specialty offerings and events at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and participating DTD restaurants.
