Secrets of Sulphur Springs NEW on Disney Channel, follows a 12 year old boy uprooted and new to a Louisiana town. His family moves into a famously haunted hotel. He makes a curious and adventurous friend and together, uncover a long kept mystery about a girl who disappeared decades ago. You can watch a teaser here!

In episodes 1 – 4 we meet Griffin, uprooted from his life in Chicago he arrives in Sulphur Springs. Griffin discovers that the Tremont hotel, where he now lives, is rumored to be haunted. He learns about the legend of Savannah surrounding the hotel and her mysterious disappearance. Together with his new adventurous, and mystery obsessed, Harper, the dive into the history of the hotel and set off to uncover the mystery of Savannah’s disappearance. As they explore the hotel, they find a secret bunker that transports them to the Tremont’s hay day, and meet Savannah herself! They come across younger versions of people they know in their lives and realize that the mystery is in fact, all around them!

This show is recommended for ages 6 and up however, my 5 year old was interested and able to keep up with the show. I started watching it with my 11 year old and I have to say we are hooked! My husband found himself sitting next to us while we watched episode one and was quickly sucked in too!

This past Monday, we were lucky enough to screen the episode coming out THIS FRIDAY! Disney Channel PR sent over Dots Cupcakes for us to enjoy while we live streamed with other Disney Moms!

Ok, Ok…. I know you want to know what happens!!! In episode 5 titled: “Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Time”, we have made it to the night of the disappearance of Savannah! Griffin and Harper must overcome obstacles that seem to be stopping them from finding out more! We start to understand the events that transpired right before Savannah disappears! We were left on bated breath as we come closer to that moment! We want to know!!


Episode 6 – “Time Warped”

This week, Disney Channer PR sent us sweet treats galore to snack on while we previewed episode 6 of Secrets of Sulphur Springs. From salty popcorn and goldfish crackers to gummies and chocolate covered s’mores! We were in a snack warp while we watched “Time Warped”! We traveled back in time with Griffin and Harper to the night of Savannah’s disappearance. Will they GET OUT!? Are you watching yet?? What are you waiting for!?


Episode 7 – “Long Time Gone”

This weeks episode Harper and Griffin dodge obstacles between two time periods in an attempt to uncover Savannah’s mysterious disappearance. Finding themselves stuck in time!!! Every episode we are on the edge of our seats and they episode ends so fast! This week, Disney Channel PR sent us the tastiest mini pies from Tiny Pies in Austin Texas. Cherry pies, as a nod to Jess’s bakery! It makes me wonder if Jess knows more than we think!


Episode 8 – “If I Could Turn Back Time”

Secrets of Sulphur Springs is based on a fictional town in Louisiana and was filmed in New Orleans! Disney Channel sent us the famous Cafe du Monde Beignets to make and snack on while we screened this weeks episode. Each gasp only exacerbated the amount of powdered sugar getting all over us and it was SO GOOD! The episode and the beignets – equally!! We followed Griffin and Harper as they traveled through time looking for Savannah and getting to the bottom of her disappearance… and there is ANSWERS!! and also so many more questions!!! This show truly has an incredible charm that has the whole family on the edge of our seats wanting for more!


Episode 9 – “As Time Goes By”

Big news (and big eats!) this week with Secrets of Sulphur Springs! Disney announced this week that our favorite Disney Channel time travel / mystery show will be coming to Disney Plus starting Friday February 26th! You can now catch up on your favorite show on Disney Channel, DisneyNow and DisneyPlus!!! With so many ways to watch, you will not want to miss this weeks episode when you find out exactly what happened to Savannah but also raise so many more questions about what kind of place this might be! We are on bated breath every episode and each week keeps getting better an better!

To go along with the great episode, Disney Channel PR sent over TWO packages this week! One with the famous LA Eatery, Jon and Vinny’s pizza kit with cookies to bake for dessert. seriously THE best and softest dough I have tasted out of NYC! The kit was complete with everything you might need, but you know I had to add a few Mickeys for good measure! The second package was a DisneyPlus PR product celebrating Secrets of Sulpur Springs arrival to Disney Plus! Including hats a tote and a charger that we needed to keep our devices charged for all that DisneyPlus viewing!

Its so hard to find great programming that the whole family can enjoy and Disney just does an incredible job of bringing families together. Secrets of the Sulphur Springs is full of mystery and edge of your seat drama that keeps you coming back week after week! And you can come here and find spoiler free(ish) updates week after week!
